  • Arts Horizons (Englewood, Bergen County): $5,000 to develop eight new online performing arts training videos for New Jersey teachers to increase their impact in the classroom. (Program Area: Education)
  • Artworks (Trenton, Mercer County): $10,000 to support Artworks Trenton recovery efforts after the 2018 Art All Night shooting. (Program Area: Arts)
  • Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (Mendham, Morris County): $65,000 general operating support of education and technical assistance to municipal officials to advance environmental protection and sustainability action in their communities.  (Program Area: Environment)
  • Foundation for Educational Administration (Monroe Township, Middlesex County): $8,500 to provide additional support for a part-time project coordinator for Any Given Child Trenton. (Program Area: Education)
  • Conservatory of Music and Performing Arts Society (Trenton, Mercer County): $11,500 to support the coordination of the Any Given Child program in Trenton. (Program Area: Education)
  • Center for Non-Profit Corporations (Mercerville, Mercer County): $15,000 for research and development of an advocacy and stakeholder engagement strategy related to a New Jersey Charitable Giving Incentive Campaign and a public awareness campaign to build long-term support for the nonprofit sector.   • Clean Ocean Action (Highlands, Monmouth County): $45,000 general operating support of education, outreach, and watershed protection programs to defend and protect New Jersey's marine resources from industrialization and pollution. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Clean Water Fund (Long Branch, Monmouth County): $45,000 general operating support of education, outreach, and policy advocacy to ensure environment and climate justice remedies are advanced in Newark and disproportionately impacted communities throughout New Jersey.  (Program Area: Environment)
  • coLAB Arts Inc (New Brunswick, Middlesex County): $10,000 to provide in-depth theater instruction, by linking the coLAB Arts network of artists with New Brunswick high school students. (Program Area: Education)
  • coLAB Arts Inc (New Brunswick, Middlesex County): $10,000 to support the ways in which journalism, oral history, and creative storytelling can be integrated into artistic practice to amplify diverse, inclusive stories, support research and advocacy efforts, and engage community participation.   • Community Foundation of South Jersey (Haddonfield, Camden County): $35,000 for general operating support of the Community Foundation's work to create thriving, equitable, and livable South Jersey communities through donor services, impactful grant making, and community leadership.   • Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center (Morristown, Morris County): $30,000 general operating support to provide meals, fresh produce, and social services to our homeless and working poor neighbors. (Program Area: Morristown)
  • Dodge Dance to Learn Fund (Morristown, Morris County): $84,000 to expand and disseminate the Dance to Learn curriculum to greater numbers of students and teachers, in partnership with Dance NJ and Young Audiences, and to ensure the second-to-fifth grade curriculum reflects a diversity of dance traditions.   • D & R Greenway Land Trust (Princeton, Mercer County): $40,000 general operating support to preserve and steward land and conservation easements and inspire a conservation ethic by connecting people to nature. (Program Area: Environment)
  • East Coast Greenway Alliance (Durham, N.C.): $10,000 to support advocacy and development of the East Coast Greenway to increase public access to trails and accelerate equitable bicycle and pedestrian friendly infrastructure in New Jersey. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Eastern Environmental Law Center (Newark, Essex County): $65,000 general operating support to provide legal services to advocate for environmental justice, clean energy, and sustainability in New Jersey. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Education Law Center (Newark, Essex County): $50,000 for general operating support of the Law Center's work in four key education priority areas: fair school funding, school construction, preschool expansion, and standards and assessments. (Program Area: Education)
  • Foundation for Educational Administration (Monroe Township, Middlesex County): $150,000 to provide district and school creative leadership teams with a three-day 2019 summer institute and year-long coaching to develop strategies and curricular units that fulfill an arts integration implementation plan.   • Grantmakers in the Arts (Bronx, N.Y.): $10,000 to host a regional workshop for funders in the region to advance racial equity in philanthropy (Program Area: Arts)
  • GreenFaith (Highland Park, Middlesex County): $35,000 to develop and support GreenFaith Circles, local multi-faith action hubs to drive environmental sustainability action in communities throughout New Jersey.  (Program Area: Environment)
  • Hackensack Riverkeeper (Hackensack, Bergen County): $55,000 general operating support of advocacy, outreach, and public engagement programs to support the protection of the Hackensack River watershed, and for a shared staff attorney with NY/NJ Baykeeper. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Monmouth Conservation Foundation (Middletown, Monmouth County): $20,000 general operating support to preserve and protect parks, open space, farmland, wildlife and wetlands throughout Monmouth County. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Natural Lands Trust (Media, Pa.): $30,000 to support open space preservation and stewardship, and education and engagement programs that connect people to nature in South Jersey. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Natural Resources Defense Council (New York, N.Y.): $20,000 to support collaborative advocacy to secure state and local policies that ensure sustainable and affordable water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure in New Jersey. (Program Area: Environment)
  • New Jersey Audubon Society (Bernardsville, Somerset County): $40,000 general operating support for public and private land stewardship projects, policy advocacy, education, and coalition building to support conservation and watershed protection, and connect people to nature in their communities.   • New Jersey Institute For Social Justice (Newark, Essex County): $20,000 to support the coordination and support of a network of stakeholders working to ensure a complete and accurate Census 2020 count in New Jersey’s hard-to-count populations.  (Program Area: Public Policy)
  • New Jersey Policy Perspective (Trenton, Mercer County): $20,000 to support research and strategic support related to the Civic Information Consortium and a public education campaign to secure long-term funding for community news and information in New Jersey.   • New Jersey Tree Foundation (Jackson, Ocean County): $25,000 general operating support to engage communities in urban forestry and stewardship, and to implement a green jobs program. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Newark Boys Chorus School (Newark, Essex County): $10,000 for general operating support to continue strengthening Newark Boys Chorus School's academic and music programs and expand current arts integrated STEAM curriculum. (Program Area: Education)
  • Newark Innovation Fund (Renew the Arts) at Community Foundation of New Jersey (Morristown, Morris County): $20,000 for the continuation of the Newark Public Schools' Renew the Arts initiative to provide all Newark students with rigorous sequential arts programming and exposure to high-quality community arts experiences.   • Newark Thrives! (Community Foundation of New Jersey) (Morristown, Morris County): $10,000 to provide continued support for the project coordinator of the Newark STEAM Coalition which is focused on building the STEAM pre-K to employment pipeline. (Program Area: Education)
  • Northeast Organic Farming Association (Hillsborough, Somerset County): $20,000 general operating support for outreach, education, research and advocacy to advance and support farmers and the regenerative agricultural movement in New Jersey. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Open Space Institute, Inc (New York, N.Y.): $10,000 to support high impact land conservation projects that increase public access to open space and protect watersheds in New Jersey.  (Program Area: Environment)
  • Passaic River Coalition (Morristown, Morris County): $25,000 general operating support of policy advocacy and conservation programs to protect natural resources, reduce flooding and improve water quality in the Passaic River basin. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Paterson Alliance (Paterson, Passaic County): $35,000 for support of the ongoing development of Alliance members' boards and to provide leadership to take Creative Paterson to the next level. (Program Area: Technical Assistance)
  • Partnership for the Delaware Estuary (Wilmington, N.C.): $30,000 to support science-based restoration projects and community outreach and education programs, and to coordinate a network stakeholders to improve the tidal Delaware River and Estuary in New Jersey. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Pinelands Preservation Alliance (Southampton, Burlington County): $60,000 general operating support for advocacy, constituency building, and community engagement programs to advance protection of New Jersey's Pinelands. (Program Area: Environment)
  • Rutgers Cooperative Extension Water Resources Program (New Brunswick, Middlesex County): $35,000 for the Green Infrastructure Technical Support program to facilitate implementation of green stormwater infrastructure to reduce flooding, increase resiliency, and improve water quality, through technical support to municipalities and their partners.   • Sister Cities Girlchoir (Philadelphia, Pa.): $30,000 for support of an El Sistema-inspired choral program for Camden girls that builds a musical community with their Philadelphia counterparts and aims to empower girls to occupy their advantage in transforming the world.   • Teach for America (Newark, Essex County): $9,000 project support of culturally relevant training of teachers and school leaders working to transform classrooms in high-poverty New Jersey communities, and to share their expertise with the Trauma Coalition led by the Newark Arts Education Roundtable.   • The Nature Conservancy (Chester, Morris County): $40,000 general operating support for the protection of priority conservation lands and use of nature-based solutions to improve water quality, habitat, and resilience of natural systems in New Jersey. (Program Area: Environment)
  • The Watershed Institute (Pennington, Mercer County): $155,000 to support the Water Institute Resource Service, to mobilize, connect, and strengthen the capacity of New Jersey's watershed organizations and their partners, through technical assistance and training programs, public policy advocacy, and grant support.   • Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts (Berkeley Heights, Union County): $40,000 To provide Paterson students with after-school and weekend El Sistema-inspired instrumental music education programming. (Program Area: Education)
