Wendy Liscow
Program Officer

Wendy LiscowMs. Liscow joined the Dodge Foundation staff in 2003 and brought with her a lifelong devotion to the arts, environment and education. Throughout her youth, she juggled artistic endeavors with her love of biology, animal behavior research, and work with young people. True to form, she began her studies at University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment, but ultimately majored in and received her degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Theatre.

Prior to joining the Foundation staff, Ms. Liscow worked for 25 years as a professional theatre administrator, director and producer in Ohio (Cincinnati Playhouse), Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Stage Company), New Jersey (George Street Playhouse) and at various venues in New York. As Associate Artistic Director and resident director of George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick for 12 years, she was responsible for directing, dramaturging and/or producing over 145 productions and new play workshops. While at George Street, she was also responsible for developing programming that increased community engagement with, and connection to, the work. After her tenure at George Street Playhouse, Ms. Liscow served as the Director of Programs and Services for the New Jersey Theatre Alliance where, among other responsibilities, she led the New Jersey Arts Access Task Force, of which she is a founding member. Ms. Liscow has served on various other boards and advisory boards in New Jersey.

In her current position at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Ms. Liscow is finally able to bring together all her passions. She works across all the Foundation’s areas of giving: arts, environment, education, and community engagement in Morristown. She is also responsible for developing and coordinating the Foundation’s capacity building technical assistance program, which has grown tremendously under her leadership.
