Education Director Ross Danis
to Move to Drew

After nearly ten years at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Ross Danis has accepted an appointment as Associate Dean of Education at Drew University, effective July 1, 2009.

Ross has had a tremendous impact at Dodge, shaping the Education program around providing transformative learning experiences for individual students and teachers, while also working to make the larger systems of public education in New Jersey more innovative and responsive to the needs of all students. His legacy includes many close and supportive relationships with Dodge grantees, in all areas of the Foundation's giving.

At Drew, Ross will be able to work once again as a direct practitioner on the issues he cares about most. In particular, he will have the opportunity to design and implement new programs for the training of teachers at a time when that is one of the nation's foremost priorities.

All of us at Dodge will miss having Ross as a day-to-day colleague and friend, but he remains our colleague in our larger efforts. We wish him all the best.
