GreenFaith

Sustainable Jersey

With Sustainable Jersey, we have developed and promoted several documents to help municipalities and faith-based organizations work more effectively together. More recently, we are collaborating around a GreenFaith water conservation toolkit; one element of the toolkit is the use of Sustainable Jersey's water ordinance template. Our partnership is pushing the ordinance forward; we are working with congregational leaders to train them how to get the ordinance passed, and we are working together on a water ordinance toolkit for municipalities.

Cloud Institute

Our partnership with The Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education is long-standing; Stacey Kennealy of our staff is a 2 time graduate of NJ Learns. Recently she gave a presentation about GreenFaith to the a NJ Learns class, and she frequently talks with the Cloud team about ways to work with the faith community.

Pinelands Preservation Alliance

We are working with the Pinelands Preservation Alliance around the water conservation toolkit. PPA has been a wealth of information on best practices and hands-on projects congregations can use. In addition, they recently highlighted the water resource in their annual report, and they are connecting GreenFaith to 8 congregations that will act as pilot sites for the resource
