Living Our Values

Shortly after David Grant arrived as the new President and CEO of the Dodge Foundation, he posed this question to the Board of Trustees and Dodge staff: What would it look like to live our values as well as fund them?

There are many answers to that question, some of which we know and some which are yet to be discovered. In 2003, for example, Dodge Trustees created an incentive plan for employees to buy environmentally-friendly cars when it was time to replace their current automobiles. Three years later, twelve of nineteen employees drive hybrid cars.

Living Our Values is about pushing ourselves to live more consciously as well as to share our experiences and lessons learned with those interested in the answers to this most important question.
