YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN BOTH ONLINE SESSION
AND SEND IN A HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT!

Tuesdays, June 10 and June 17, 2008
12:00-1:00 pm—Online

Your organization relies on graphic design every day: to make your website "sticky," your newsletters engaging, your direct mail compelling. Your organization may also rely on you to decide what your audience sees and what goes back to the drawing board.  The expertise you bring to those decisions is what we call your "Eye-Q." The higher your Eye-Q score is, the better you'll be able to distinguish what works, what doesn't, and why.  Raising Your Eye-Q is a new online course created precisely to prepare you for those moments. In two one-hour classes, you will: learn the ten questions to ask when evaluating new web pages, e-newsletters, annual reports, direct mail, or any other professionally designed communication pieces; and share samples of your organization's current work and have them evaluated by graphic design experts. These tools will enable you to emerge with new confidence regarding making a decision on any new design that would best serve your organization.  Raising Your Eye-Q will be informative, entertaining, and lively. All classes will be led by Andy Goodman, author of Why Bad Ads Happen to Good Causes and Why Bad Presentations Happen to Good Causes, and the founder of the Storytelling iSchool.

Class size is limited, so early registration is recommended!
This workshop is for Executive Directors and/or Marketing personnel. Register up to two people: one person will be the primary participant online and the other can “audit” the class.  Further audit  information will be provided upon registration.
