This half-day session explores the critical relationship between the Board and the Executive Director, including differentiating governance and management, critical personnel policies, Executive Director succession planning, and annual performance appraisal of the Executive Director. We encourage Executive Directors to bring a team of up to two additional Board Executive Committee members to this workshop.
