Today more than ever before, a nonprofit’s finances must be able to withstand intense scrutiny, as the responsibility for financial well-being and oversight rests on the knowledge and competence of finance staff and Board members. This full-day program on the Board’s role in managing the organization’s money includes best practices in financial management, navigating the new 990 and annual audit, financial literacy for Board members, and investment management and policies. This workshop is best suited for the Executive Director, the Executive Committee, Development Chair, Board Treasurer, members of the Finance Committee and CFO or equivalent.
