Paper Mill patrons -- from New Jersey and the metropolitan area -- see seasoned artists at the top of their craft, talented young artists who bring their fresh vision to the stage, and brand-new musicals before they move to Broadway or national tours. Since 2008, Paper Mill has invested its creative capital in co-producing partnerships that developed, among others, The 25th Anniversary Production of Les Miserables, Newsies, and this season's hit, Honeymoon in Vegas. National attention to Paper Mill as a pre-Broadway incubator is growing, while a record-breaking 21,000 subscribers support this theater.

Paper Mill ensures that the joy of live theater is available to those in need. Regularly-scheduled Access Services for 5,000 people include audio-description, sensory seminars, open captioning, ASL interpretation, advance script service, and infra-red assistive listening. Since 2011, groundbreaking performances and theater classes for children with autism have addressed families' desperate need for welcoming, adapted entertainment, and established Paper Mill as a mentor for the Kennedy Center and other theaters.

Paper Mill helps 40,000 students stretch and develop as creative and more confident individuals annually, and offers New Jersey teachers a valuable cultural partner. Education programs reach into every county of New Jersey: Adopt-A-School Project, Rising Star Awards, Summer Musical Theater Conservatory, Theater School, Broadway Show Choir, and Children's Theater, among others. Alumni are accepted to top university theater training programs and many achieve professional success -- including Laura Benanti, Anne Hathaway, Nikki M. James, and Tony nominee Rob McClure (Chaplin), star of Honeymoon in Vegas.

Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee, an accomplished director and choreographer, has directed numerous Paper Mill productions, national tours and regional productions, and directs the annual New Voices concerts.
