Organization Background

Mission: A catalyst for the arts in the NJ/NY metropolitan area, Victory Hall Inc. provides a space where the arts communities and the public can share, interact and enjoy new artistic experiences. We advance and nurture the artistic and cultural endeavors of emerging and established artists whose works reflect the vibrancy and diversity of our communities.

Founded as a community arts center in Victory Hall, from September 2001 -June 2007, we produced large exhibitions of area artists, collaborated with Jersey City Museum on three NJ themed exhibits, established an annual exhibit including artists from around the country and developed a varied arts education program serving 250 children and adults weekly. Victory Hall was home to Art House Open Mic series, four theater companies, several dance troupes, film series, and many music events.

Victory Hall was at the height of its success creatively and financially, when the Hall was re-purposed by the Catholic parish that owned it in mid-2007.

2007-12: Our organization re-invented itself as an arts event producer in NJ/NY area with exhibitions in public spaces, public art projects and education programs. We established consistent programs that served the community and worked with our original landlords to establish our new arts center in 2012-13.
