For support of the leadership of the Any Given Child Trenton arts education strategic planning effort.
The Trenton Public Education Foundation (TPEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit education foundation that was established in 2003 by a group of dedicated community people to support the students of the Trenton School District.
TPEF's mission is to broker, foster and leverage resources that enhance and promote educational opportunities for the students in the district.
The Executive Director of the organization is a retired educator. She was a classroom teacher, legislative aide to the Chair of the Assembly Education Committee, NJDOE regional coordinator for whole school reform, and former Education Director for the Foundation for NJ Public Broadcasting, Inc. with experience in administering large grants from the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), Corporation for Public Broadcasting(CPB) and others, such as Bank of America, to conduct teacher training institutes. Peter Martin, CPA and TPEF Board member, will manage fiscal grant responsibilities for TPEF. The TPEF will act as the home or backbone organization for Any Given Child, Trenton, and will work with the AGC Community Arts Team and its executive committee to implement Phase Two of the the Kennedy Center Any Given Child program.
