Jennene Tierney, Vice President of People, Culture, and Equity
Jennene Tierney is the Vice President of People, Culture, and Equity. In this role, she oversees the Foundation's human resources, culture building, and internal and external communications strategies. Jennene works closely with, and across, the Foundation's staff, board, and senior leadership team to ensure a high-performing staff and to align internal and external processes with the Foundation's values centering equity, learning, and collaboration.
Jennene has over 20 years experience leading talent and organizational effectiveness functions in the private and social sectors. Prior to joining Dodge, she was Vice President of Executive Search at Koya Leadership Partners, where she helped identify and place diverse leaders into non-profit executive roles. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Human Resources at the Arcus Foundation, a private philanthropy committed to social and environmental justice. Earlier in her career, Jennene worked in various talent management and development roles with international nonprofits, including UNICEF USA, International Rescue Committee, and CARE USA.
Jennene holds an MBA in management from St. John's University and a bachelor's in business administration from Temple University.
Jennene is a loving mom to two active, school-age kids and resides in Montclair. She loves theater, travel, and spending time outdoors in nature.
