Ysabel Y. Gonzalez, Dodge Poetry Assistant Director

Ysabel Y. Gonzalez works with the Poetry Program at Dodge to celebrate language, poetry, and the arts. She coordinates the program’s mini-festivals; Clearing the Spring, Tending the Fountain; and is the central coordinator for the biennial national Dodge Poetry Festival. 

Ysabel was raised in Newark, and received her bachelor’s from Rutgers University and her master in fine arts in Poetry from Drew University. Before joining the Dodge Foundation, Ysabel worked for Rutgers University, the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, and the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University.

When Ysabel isn’t at the office, you can find her writing and performing her own poems, singing karaoke, or searching for her next Wonder Woman collectible.
