Judy Ha Kim

As the capacity building manager at the Dodge Foundation, Judy Ha Kim (she/her/hers) manages grants and logistics for the Foundation’s capacity building and technical assistance program. She is also the operations manager, overseeing general office operations.

Judy has always had a passion for making a difference in society through education and social justice. She began her career in education through teaching social studies and English for speakers of other languages for youth and adult learners in the greater Philadelphia area. Judy served as assistant director of Asian Americans United in Philadelphia where she was involved in youth development programming, community engagement, fundraising, and event planning. Prior to joining the Dodge Foundation, Judy was the project director at Foundations, Inc., serving as the lead training specialist and task lead for the U.S. Department of Education’s You for Youth (Y4Y) project, which supported 21st Century Learning Center afterschool programs nationwide.

Judy holds a Master’s degree in Multicultural Education from Eastern University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and education from Swarthmore College. In her free time, she is an active member of her local church.
