Hadrian Gonzalez Castellanos

Hadrian Gonzalez Castellanos serves as Chief of Staff and Investment Associate at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, working across the organization to strengthen executive operations, organizational effectiveness, and mission-aligned investments. He leads the development of the Foundation’s public policy platform, partnering closely with the President & CEO to shape policy priorities, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives. He also supports the Foundation’s Programmatic Investments work, contributing to sourcing, diligence, and portfolio oversight.
Hadrian brings experience at the intersection of policy, strategy, and economic development. Prior to joining the Dodge Foundation, he was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised public and private sector clients on complex challenges across the health and energy sectors. He also served as a Policy Analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), where he developed political risk frameworks and produced research on global supply chains and economic resilience. Earlier in his career, he conducted research with the U.S. Department of Commerce on industrial decarbonization and energy policy.
Hadrian holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from Duke University. While at Duke, he founded Duke for UNICEF, a student-led organization focused on advocacy for women’s and children’s health and education, and he also chaired the Student Organization Finance Committee, helping oversee more than $2 million in funding for 400+ student organizations. Across his work, he is drawn to the ways policy, institutions, and capital can expand economic opportunity.
