Aliyah Saleem supports programmatic and operational work at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, contributing research, coordination, and analysis in service of the Foundation’s equity and justice goals.
Aliyah brings experience across government, corporate social impact, and nonprofit sectors, including work in Congress and community-based organizations. She is the founder of Hope for Health & Hygiene, a grassroots initiative ensuring access to hygiene essentials for individuals and families facing economic hardship. Under her leadership, the organization expanded across nine U.S. states and internationally in Liberia and Uganda.
Aliyah holds a bachelor’s degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Rutgers University–Newark. Her leadership and commitment to equity have earned her national recognition, including the Obama-Chesky Scholarship for Public Service, the Honorable Sheila Y. Oliver Service Award from the New Jersey Municipal Management Association, and the Rutgers School of Public Affairs and Administration Service Award.
