The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation today announced the election of Karen Sunderam to its Board of Trustees. A seasoned investment strategist and leader in impact investing, Sunderam brings nearly two decades of experience aligning capital with social and economic outcomes.
The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation has committed $4 million toward the development of a new South Ward Wellness Center in Newark, a transformative community development project that will expand access to medical care, youth development, and economic opportunity in one of the city’s most historically underserved neighborhoods.
Together, in partnership with The Princeton Area Community Foundation and the Bonner Foundation, $155,000 in Critical Needs Grants were awarded to Trenton-area nonprofits facing funding cuts and increased demand for services.
