Hesham Tamraz, Director of Technology and Grant Operations
Hesham has 20 years of experience in leading and managing technology at nonprofit organizations. At Dodge, he manages the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions and oversees systems and procedures for the Foundation’s grantmaking operations. This includes directing all IT operations to meet staff and grantee requirements as well as the support, maintenance, and security of existing systems, application development, and the adoption of technical solutions in the cloud and on-premise.
Prior to joining Dodge, Hesham served as senior database and application development manager for a start-up entrepreneurial venture, where he led a team of developers to manage the technical development of a commercial e-marketing platform for the insurance industry. Earlier in his career, he worked as director of information systems for an international nonprofit, followed by five years as founder of a consultancy practice specializing in providing technical leadership in the selection, development, and implementation of nonprofit information systems.
Hesham holds an M.B.A. from the University of Leicester and graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor's in computer science.
