In May 2023, we announced our first-ever Open Call for racial justice organizations, looking to fund and support organizations across our State that have not previously had access to Dodge Foundation funding. More than 120 organizations from across the state answered that call, and today, we are thrilled to announce the ten organizations we are supporting from our first-ever Open Call process.
Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation is excited to welcome Cathy Garcia as our new Director, Program Initiatives and Learning, and Sam Teigen as Controller. Both Cathy and Sam join our organization with decades of experience across the social sector, and with a deep commitment to advancing our vision of a more just and equitable New Jersey.
Today, we are excited to announce that the Dodge Foundation’s latest cycle of grants provides support to over 30 organizations focused on addressing the root cause and repair of structural racism and inequity across New Jersey. These organizations are working on everything from building power among immigrant communities to advocating for housing and environmental justice.
