Jersey Give-Back Guide: Celebrating the Student Conservation Association

December 20, 2013

It’s the final day of the 15 Days of Generating Generosity, and we are going out with a bang! The Jersey Give-Back Guide is a website designed to help you learn about some of New Jersey’s most effective nonprofits as you are thinking about making your year-end donations – organizations like the Student Conservation Association whose New Jersey members dedicated their time to helping with Sandy recovery over the past year, as well as building trails, planting community gardens, and beautifying state parks throughout New Jersey.

As December 31st inches closer, remember that you can help any of the Jersey Give Back Guide featured organizations get an extra $1,000 from Dodge. To be eligible, each organization must get 50 donors to give (any amount) through the Guide, and Dodge will chip in an extra $1,000.

Help put your favorite organizations over the top – please give!

The Student Conservation Association provides real world job opportunities for kids in high school and college to maintain and improve our state and county parks, trails, cultural landmarks and other outdoor areas that we flock to. Not only are these kids blossoming into our next generation of environmental caretakers through hands-on service, they are also providing extra manpower to our communities, making them better, more beautiful places to live. Support the students – give to the SCA here in New Jersey.
