Bolder Advocacy

Bolder Advocacy promotes active engagement in democratic processes and institutions by giving nonprofits and foundations the confidence to advocate effectively and by protecting their right to do so. Their goal is to demystify and decode advocacy by equipping organizations with knowledge and tools.

Center for Non-Profits

The Center for Non-Profits is New Jersey’s state association of non-profits. For more than 30 years since its founding in 1982, the Center remains New Jersey's only umbrella organization for all charities in the state. 

Through advocacy, management assistance and cost-saving programs, the Center provides non-profits with knowledge, insights and tools so they can pursue their missions more effectively.

Pro Bono Partnership

Pro Bono Partnership, a non-profit legal assistance organization serving New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York, which recruits attorneys from major corporations and law firms to provide volunteer assistance to qualifying non-profit organizations without charge.

The Partnership provides:

  • Lawyers to assist you with contracts and leases, corporate structure and governance, real estate, employment law, environmental law, compliance with government regulations, fundraising regulations, lobbying, intellectual property and other business legal matters;
  • Nonprofit Crisis Management Advice on the legal aspects of strategic alliances or mergers; workforce reduction and alternatives; leases and other contractual obligations; Board fiduciary obligations and liabilities; restructuring debt , restrictions on use of grant monies, or underwater endowments; fulfilling terms of government contracts; or deciding whether to file for bankruptcy or to dissolve.
  • A wide variety of free and low cost educational workshops on important legal issues for non-profit managers and board members to help you proactively adopt best practices and avoid potentially costly mistakes.

Center for Cooperative Media

The mission of the Center for Cooperative Media is to grow and strengthen local journalism, and in doing so serve New Jersey residents. 


The Center for Cooperative Media does that through the use of partnerships, collaborations, training, product development, research and communication. We work with 250 partners throughout the Garden State, including hyperlocal digital publishers, public media, newspapers, television outlets, radio stations and multimedia news organizations.

Environmental Leadership Program
