Ok, maybe not literally. But the Dodge Blog is taking an end-of-summer vacation, while we continue our regular grantmaking as well as our work with the New Jersey Recovery Fund. And yes, we will be taking a vacation here or there, too.

The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation has committed $4 million toward the development of a new South Ward Wellness Center in Newark, a transformative community development project that will expand access to medical care, youth development, and economic opportunity in one of the city’s most historically underserved neighborhoods.
Together, in partnership with The Princeton Area Community Foundation and the Bonner Foundation, $155,000 in Critical Needs Grants were awarded to Trenton-area nonprofits facing funding cuts and increased demand for services.
