We’ve advocated seed-bombing potholes and cracks before. So…why not yarn bomb them too?

Artist Juliana Santacruz Herrera decided to take matters into her own hands and fix some potholes in Paris. With colorful yarn.

We’ve been trying to avoid a lot of potholes on highways here in New Jersey lately – they could use some creative fixing too.

See a few more of Juliana’s photos on Flickr.

And, if this is the first time you’ve ever heard of yarn bombing, take a look at some other examples here, here and here!

In case you didn’t see this on our Facebook page, we found the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s “A Donor’s Guide to Giving After a Disaster” comprehensive and useful. Our hearts go out to the people of Japan.
