Follow along all week and you’ll get a peek inside the organization’s acclaimed New Jersey Artist/Teacher Institute. The week-long workshops, the second of two sessions this summer, immerses classroom teachers, educators and artists in hands-on workshops in the performing, visual, literary and digital arts led by master teaching artists.

Participants discover new pathways to creative teaching and learning in and through the arts while igniting their artistry and connecting with a community of peers. ATi participants impact over 20,000 students annually and over 80 percent receive scholarships to attend.

You’ll see all kinds of art being created by some very talented New Jersey teachers right before your eyes.

The Artist/Teacher Institute is a co-sponsored program of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts and Arts Horizons. Additional funding has been provided by The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.

Arts Horizons’ believes you can transform lives through the power of the arts. Their mission is to enhance the lives of people of all ages and abilities by creating equitable opportunities to engage in the arts. Learn more about their work on their website.

Our new #dodgetakeover is a way to offer a glimpse into the work of Dodge grantees in pictures and videos.
