Hundreds of you have visited www.JerseyGiveBackGuide.org and invested more than $8,000 in the 22 superstar nonprofits whose work improves countless lives across this great Garden State.
The nonprofits featured in the Give Back Guide plant trees, build community gardens, protect our waterways, pass on the gift of jazz to the next generation, bring people together to celebrate the arts, inspire leaders and extend a helping hand to at-risk youth. We can’t say enough good things about them.
Or you — for taking a moment from your busy day to give back.

We especially want to thank those of you who took to Twitter, Facebook and other social media channels to spread the word about your giving and ask your friends to join you in making a difference.
Yesterday, we announced that organizations that get 50 donors through the Jersey Give Back Guide will get a $1,000 boost from the Dodge Foundation and the Victoria Foundation.
That means every donation — whether it is $1 or $100 — counts.
So far, one organization has met the challenge, but there is still plenty of time to go until the Dec. 31 deadline. And all organizations still have a long way to go to meet their year-end giving goals.
Last year, you donated nearly $30,000 to the 15 nonprofits featured in the Jersey Give Back Guide (You can STILL donate to them, check them out here).
This year, we set an ambitious goal to double that and generate $60,000 in year-end donations.
We have $52,000 to go before we get there. Can you help?
